ENvironmentally Friendly Inter City Aircraft powered by Fuel Cells (ENFICA-FC)
The main goal of ENFICA-FC programme is to study and demonstrate the possibility of obtaining a more/all electric aircraft through the integration of fuel-cells technology as main power-supply system. During the three years research activity, a fuel-cell based power system will be designed, developed and installed in a ultra-light aircraft in order to achieve the first fuel-cell manned flight.

ENFICA-FC RAPID-200 enters final flight-test phase
ENFICA-FC RAPID-200 has been tested in its final configuration since end of October 2009. The final test phase is taking place at Reggio Emilia Airport, Italy.
